Deciphering MceRemote.Unknown for S3 Issue

New to EG and loving it, but have a tiny little hiccup with the set-up of my HTPC.

I'm using the Windows 7/Vista MCE Plugin to read the signal of my Samsung TV remote to an HP Media Center IR receiver. The keys are static and program just fine with EG. The issue is that when the PC goes it into S3 Sleep, it alone can not recognize any of the buttons and won't wake from the remote. 5VSB pins and BIOS configuration is accepting of USB wake, and MCE Standby Tool has been used to verify everything USB is capable of waking Windows side. The USB keyboard and mouse are both capable of waking. The HP MCE receiver blinks in response to every key I send, it just won't wake the computer.

I could be wrong, but from other searches, it seems like only certain buttons on other remotes (Harmony, etc) are capable of waking the PC, so it must be an issue from the receiver to the system that is causing the problem. I want to try to send those MceRemote.Unknown.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX keypresses from the the EG log to the ReportMappingTable in registry (the Samsung MCE Remote has its own entry), in an attempt to program the power button without the necessity of EG. Does anyone know how I would go about reading the 22 char unknown string, and coding it to a button in the ReportMappingTable in the reg?
