I bought this device about year ago. I expected it will come with all needed software. But it is absolutely nude. I found driver for Windows XP (I'm using Pro and not going upgrade it). It installs and shows device in Device Manager. But I was unable use it in any applications I tried. I need record signals from bunch of remotes then control them from computer. I need turn on and off video projector at specific time, change temperature of air cooling system and so on. From time to time I tried different programs but without success. They say Beyond TV works with USBX-707 but I was unable use it for my needs. I found here a thread about this IR Blaster. But I did not understand - was anybody able use it in EventGhost?
If it is possible use USBX-707 with EG - please tell me what I have to do. Which drivers I have to install? How I have tune the software? I'm almost ready through out this large silver dongle but sorry for $20 payed.
