Remapping a button to perform a different function

So basically I have a Harmony 900 remote, most of the button programming I did through the Harmony software, but now I need to remap the Guide key which is performing an "open email" function when I press it because I mapped the Guide key to Email in Logitech's custom buttons settings. The email function is useless to me, but the Guide button and email function are the few that are left which I have not used up yet.

This is what happens:

I press guide button, outlook starts, EG does not recognize anything when I press Guide

This is what I would like it to do:

I press guide button, outlook Does NOT start, EG recognizes the ir signal, I create a key map to that ir signal, which would be for a MCE custom plug-in to launch

I actually would like to do this for multiple buttons, oh and I cannot use the Ctrl+Alt+a, b, c, d, 1, 2, 3, 4, F1, F2, F3 or F4 combination because those are already being used by the red, green, yellow and blue harmony buttons.

The ir receiver that my harmony 900 is utilizing is the one from "PC Remote Controller" plug-in which looks exactly as the plug-in picture shows in EG, but when I select it Error starting plug-in, device not found, the only thing that I don't get an error for is the "Microsoft MCE Remote" plug in.

So basically this key mapping issue is what I have been researching for 2 days already and cannot seem to figure out how to do this, I searched the EG forum for key words, I even tried just reading every topic, but after page #3 I gave up and started doing the keyword searches which didn't help me.

If someone could just post some instructions for me on how to go about doing this I will be very greatefull and finally will be able to implement this HTPC(laptop) in the living room for Mom, change from Time warner to Fios and reduce bill by $100 monthly.

Ok so now I got EG to recognize my USB PC Remote Controller ir commands by following the Re: Plugin for USB PC Remote Controller topic in this forum, I followed Paco's instructions on page 7 which anyone who uses the newest version of EG will need all previous 6 pages are basically for EG v 0.3.x.

Now all I need is someone's saved xml file with everything mapped or I need to map all commands manually in EG. Thanks, my original issue is now resolved.
