I am using EG for Android but the UI is pretty basic. Therefore, I would like to send EG events directly from an HTTP Post command in Tasker as this would greatly expand the versatility of the app and allow for situation-specific macros.
What I need to know is the syntax of an event going into EG. Tasker allows to specify Sever:Port (obviously the IP and the port number) but I need to know how to format either Path and/or Data in order for EG to read the event properly.
Thanks in advanced!

Send events with HTTP Post from Android
Re: Send events with HTTP Post from Android
I failed to mention specifically that this would be sent to another android. I know that I can send the events to a webserver hosted on a PC, but I would like to be able to directly interact with EG on another android device.
