Can't get EG to work with a limited 'user' account

Can't get EG to work with a limited 'user' account

EG works fine as admin account but I can't get it to work while logged in as a 'user' Can anyone suggest a solution?

PS run win xp pro and using media centre remote. Am running latest version 3.5c
