I use the MCE Remote for Vista/Win7 Plugin and it works good for receiving signals from my remote. I also can blast codes when I use an other event receiver (not the MCE Plugin but e.g. the keyboard). But when I use the Receiver to both, receive and transmit codes, then it starts to be very unreliable. It delays blasting and sometimes hangs EventGhost for a long time.
IRSS for MediaPortal worked for both (I don't use it anymore), so the hardware is OK.
The learned codes are OK, I can blast fast and without hiccups when the event is coming from my keyboard.
It seams to be a bug in the plugin when it comes to differentiate the incoming and outgoing IR signals.
There are some people reporting it here in the forum (e.g. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1789&p=20723&hilit=transmit#p20720).
Is there someone who could have a look at the code of the plugin?

Re: Unreliable blasting with MCE Remote Plugin
I'm seeing something that I think may be the same problem. I posted a question yesterday before I saw your posting: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5053
I'm also running the MCE Remote plugin under Win7 and while it works most of the time, sometimes there's a very long delay between receiving the IR signal and blasting out an IR signal (I'm using EventGhost to convert the power button on my MCE remote control to turn the TV on/off). In my case the blasting is delay anywhere from 10 to 30+ seconds after receiving the button press. Does that match up to the symptoms you're seeing?
