XNView plugin?
XNView plugin?
Hello,
I recently discovered this wonderful application and I would like to use it with XnView but I am unable to create a plugin for it. Does anyone have it?
Thank you very much.

Re: XNView plugin?
As far as I know, there is no plugin for XnView.
Also, I do not know of anyone who works on it.
However, maybe you can use either IrfanView or ArtSage instead of XnView.
For these two programs we have plugins.
IrfanView plugin is included in the installation program and the plugin for ArtSage is here.

Pako thank you very much,
I know IrfanView, but I prefer XnView, I will create all events for use with my remote.
Can I share some part of configuration file?
Greetings.

Well. But I still do not understand what you are asking.
I'm sorry. It's probably because I do not speak English.
Perhaps there might be able to help someone else also.

Re: XNView plugin?
Do not worry, I do not speak English, I use google translator.
I wonder if it is possible to save only part of the configuration file (XML file) and not whole. So I could share the configuration I've done for XnView.
Greetings and thanks for your interest.

Re: XNView plugin?
Yes, of course it is possible (with small restrictions).
You can copy any folder (or macro or action). But with one operation only one item.
Once you have chosen part of configuration in the clipboard,
then you perform an "paste" action but into plain text file !
Back it goes the same way (but vice versa). In the text file you make a "copy",
while the "paste" you make in the configuration tree.

Thank you very much,
I did not think it was that simple.
I attached the folder that contains the actions for XnView (with Lirc).
To start XnView:

I did not think it was that simple.
I attached the folder that contains the actions for XnView (with Lirc).
To start XnView:
To switch to mode XNView:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<EventGhost Version="1600">
<Macro Name="Iniciar XNView">
<Event Name="Lirc.PREVIEW" />
<Action>
System.Execute(u'C:\\Archivos de programa\\XnView\\xnview.exe', u'', 0, False, 2, u'', False)
</Action>
<Action>
Window.BringToFront()
</Action>
</Macro>

To disable XnView:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>

<Macro Name="Switch to mode: XNView">
<Event Name="Task.Activated.xnview" />

EventGhost.EnableExclusive(XmlIdLink(562))

<Event Name="Task.Destroyed.xnview" />

As far as I can tell he don't expect anything from you, he got his config to work and posted his solution.Pako wrote:I'm still confused.
