Xbox 360 Wireless with HID Disconnect/Reconnect Issues

Post by nolimit78 »

This may have been asked previously (I searched but couldn't find anything relevant through google and through this forum) if it has I do apologize.

My situation is this:

I use XBMC to run my HTPC. I am able to watch movies, play games and tv shows all from one front end. Recently they just got support for the 360 Controller. I've been using my controller to controller the media center and pc games. What happens is when I start event ghost while the controller is attached everything works perfectly. With no problems and makes my setup super clean.

The problem I am having is when the controller times out or gets turned off. Eventghost will see that the device is reattached but will not execute any of the triggers I have set up. It requires (while the controller is connected) me to restart eventghost and everything works fine until the controller times out.

Can anyone shine some light on this for me? Is there a way to fix this? Evenghost is so close be being the final key to an awesome HTPC set up. :) Thanks all!
