Can I shut off / on a Windows sercice, e.g. hidserv with EG. May be also be done automatically each time EG starts?

Many thanks for the links, blaher,

That seems to be a little bit to complicated / difficult to do for me, I had hoped there would be a simple way, e.g. adding an "Action" in EG or so.

Thanks again.

Ah, OK, thank you, krambriw,

That seems to be more convinient, it seems to be a window of EG, but how could I let automatically close / finish this hidserv (service) controlling input devices?

You need to know the name of the service you like to control. Are we talking about the same things?

I hope so, this is the name: hidserv

C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_hid-user.resources_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_es-es_c162de87050a6649\hidserv.dll.mui

Something like this, doesn't work:

Thanks, krambriw.
Don't make it too complicated,
OK, I will try to do so.

Great, it works.

I have two net.exe files on C:

This one (I use now):
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-net-command-line-tool_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_5208a7a3d3caa54c\net.exe

and this one (I didn't try):
C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-net-command-line-tool_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_ae2743278c281682\net.exe

So, I could image, to finish or start any service, you just have to enter the net.exe path (on my Win 7 system) and the name of the service.

Many thanks again.
