Sorry of this subject has been covered before but I've tried to search but nothing came up.
I have EG installed on my Win 8 x64
My receiver is recognized by the PC as a Spinel Plus
My harmony 1100 has the MCE receiver as a targa traveller 1577 x2
When I click on my activity to watch movies, it's supposed to do everything else and then send the "MediaCenter" key to start MCE but after multiple trial and error I'm unable to get it to work. However, when I manually hit the "Media Center" key on the remote MCE actually starts as it should. **confused**
Been searching google for a solution on and off for weeks now and discovered EG which seems to be the answer to my problem and beyond.
What I'd like to do is to add a function key of some kind on the Logitech remote to send a key to actually start MCE and when I go to a different activity, I would like it to close out MCE.
I discovered that by having MCE icon on my quick launch, i can do a "WIN + #" to launch the app and to close I can set up something to send "Alt + F4+
Can I assign two command to one key? Like if I were to assign "MediaCenter" key to send "Win + #" and if I press it again, it'll do the "Alt +F4?
At this point, I only have EG installed and nothing else done. Not sure where to start.

Logitech Harmony, start and close MCE
Re: Logitech Harmony, start and close MCE
Sure, do a search on this forum for "Toggle", which shows you how to enable and disable separate folders that contain the different actions (commands). Can I assign two command to one key? Like if I were to assign "MediaCenter" key to send "Win + #" and if I press it again, it'll do the "Alt +F4?
