ITECIR with a Explorer 8300HD remote

Hello there, I did search and found an old topic about the ITECIR integrated IR reader but it seemed that people still had trouble under Win7.

At the moment im using my laptop as my XBMC machine and relying on my iPhone or iPad to control. It works pretty well, able to turn on/off using WOL and everything else in XBMC, would be great to be able to use my UR5U-8400A remote..

Anyone have any sucess getting EvenGhost to work with the ITECIR ?

I tried adding all Generic HID plugins but still cant get EG to log anything coming from the remote..

any help is greatly appreciated.
