Start Application Command Line Options

Post by mydroid76 »

I am running Event Ghost 0.4.1.r1630 on XP sp3 machine.

I need to know if it is possible to make the command line options a variable that can be received from the message from the phone using autoremote. Essentially i am wanting to use this for my home automation.

ie. I send message from tasker using autoremote plugin Eventghost gets the message "Living Room 25" and event ghost runs a script for my home automation software and sets the living room lights to 25.

the home automation software is a simple batchfile that i have a parameter built in so when i run the script with a number it will set the lights to that number.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if i'm trying to do this the hardway or if you don't understand what i'm trying to do at all.

Thanks

Your question is quite clear.
However, I can not answer because I do not know how I have to imagine Eventghost gets the message "Living Room 25".
Please attach a screenshot or a copy of the relevant section of the EventGhost log.
It would also be nice to know some example of calls the batchfile.
