Hello, first of all I would like to say thank you because I've been learning and reading about EG and this forum is really useful because everyone is nice.
I'm using Windows 8 x64, EventGhost 0.4.1.r1640 and an Android app called terremote.
I have made a remote that is working great but I have to be connected to the same Wifi-Connection at home.
My question is...what do I have to change if I want to control the PC from an smartphoe connected to 3G?
I've erad about port-forwarding...and I have configured my router (hitron cde-30364). Port 1024 seems open now (according to the tool PortChecker and Kaspersky) but when I use the remote with 3G connection I don't see anything in the log of the PC at home. I have tried with a Wifi USb adapter and an ethernet cable with no results.
Could anyone help me or tell where I could read something about this?
Thank you so much,
Best regards

Controlling the PC from 3G
Re: Controlling the PC from 3G
Closed ports and (non-)static public IP address could be problems. Maybe this short article helps you: http://www.xtralogic.com/rdc_direct_cfg_guide.shtml
