Question about repeat IR speeds

I was wondering if some one could recommend maybe a better hardware device that can repeat IR codes faster. I am running EG on a windows 7 64 pro with USBIRT for the IR emitter. I can not get EG/USBIRT to repeat commands as fast as say the manufacture remotes. Not sure if this a limitation of EG or the USBIRT or both. Any recommendations would be great.

Hello mpg732,

I'm using the Microsoft MCE Remote and didn't have a problem with the speed at all(I think it's very fast), maybe this is worth a try.
As I don't have a USBIRT it would be cool if you compare the two and then post the PRO and CONS, I think this would help a lot of people.
