Hello forum, this is my first try with this exellent program.
Sorry for asking such a novice question but I just could not
figure it out on my own:
My macro starts application A minimized, waits a few seconds and starts
app. B. Now I want to wait another few seconds and close
app. A again, but I don't know how.
I just can not find a command for "close app. X"
Can you help me with this?

Do a find window, then a close.
