Hi all,
I am sure that a many of you are using Netremote in conjuction with EG. As far as I have understood, using the Network event receiver/sender on the EG side, and the generic plugin on the NR is the way to go. And,... well,... everything is documented... in principle... However, I would appreciate a simple example of bidirectional communication EG <-> NR; it would save me quite some time.

Bidirectional communication is yet not implemented. But it wouldn't be that hard. There is a LUA script for the Netremote support on the Girder side, that would have to be transfered to Python. Not a big deal, but as I don't have a Netremote device, it would be hard to program this "blindly".
Sending events from NR to EG works the same way as with Girder.
