Hi there all at EG forum.
I have set up ispy as an alarm/cctv I want to be able to press a button on my remote so it :-
starts ispy and starts the protection as such
ps im new to this

I've done this now but cant figure out how to use the same button to stop it like the standby button for a T.V. (on/off)

Also is there a way (with the toggle Function) to have 2 different sound files play :-
Open DVD drive & play 1 sound
Close DVD drive & play different sound

I have some tutorials that might help you.

Start with the first one, then do the second one:
1. Example.xml revamp
2. Techniques: controlling multiple programs

Technique 3 of the second tutorial can be adapted for your purpose to cycle/toggle between two states.

And yes, just add the appropriate Actions to the two states for the DVD drive door and the sounds.

I have done all the Examples, They are a GREAT help (when do I get my certificate lol)
serious they was really good, just what I needed to get me on my way thank you.

I am yet to sort out the "Start/Stop" due to lack of time but I will get round to trying it asap.
