n00b with some questions
ok Im setting up this program to replace the ram hungry firefly software as well as link up the firefly with the UIRT to control multiple devices. I can easily program a macros to have the power button turn on the tv ect but I'm having a little trouble understanding the event based logic. I want to be able to press the tv button and control the tv then press the tv button and have the firefly go back to normal. Then I was going to link other devices the other buttons like dvd ect. I also am looking to open programs and have macros designed for them. I need like one or two example on how to do this kind of stuff then I can figure it out from there. I am familar with java and c++ and have made multiple xmls for controling various applications with the firefly software so if hard coding this from the files I already made would be easier I'm definitely open to it. I'm hoping to get my HTPC rig all set up with itunes, GBPVR (free HTPC program I highly suggest it), multiple IR devices, and be able to go full screen on multiple game emulators that are launched from GBPVR.
