I must admit I do not know anything about macros, and I learned of Event Ghost through another forum while posting a query about system-wide volume control. I thought there might be a software available to do this much needed operation.
I have been trying off and on for some time now to find something/anything that will do this.
Event Ghost is the very first thing I've heard of that can actually attempt to do the job.
If there is a simple software that might be available to do a system-wide volume control, I would be more than happy to hear of it.

With that said, I'm having a problem with Event Ghost. From the other forum I mentioned I learned how to set up my volume control configuration. The configuration was saved, but it does absolutely nothing. While installing the configuration, everything seemed to work, but after saving it, nothing. None of the programs entered into the configuration respond when opened. Nothing responds, it's as if Event Ghost doesn't exist.
I have included a .png attachment of the Event Ghost configuration .xml file stored in C:\Users\[username]\Documents.

Since no one else has responded, I'm going to assume that they're having the same problem as I am with your post. I can't figure out what you're describing.

It sounds like you haven't learned the basics of how EG works. You should be able to look at the EG window and see in real time what is happening, or not happening.

If you're getting a Traceback error with a bunch of red print in the log pane, then you might have the problem described in this thread and need to replace certain files with the files in patch.zip (found in that thread). Edit: Although that particular problem shouldn't happen if you are running the current version of EG, 1669.
