How do I trigger an action by a sequence of events?

Post by e23 »

Hi,
when pressing a button on my Apple Remote, I get Event A for a short press following repeating Events B for a continuous press as long as I keep pressing.
I want to use the "Powerdown" action for XMBC by pressing a button for 3 seconds, so the input im getting is:
"ABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB..."
Is it possible to trigger an action by a sequence of events?
How can I get this done?
Cheers!

Use the long press jump and pick 3 secs for your time.
