How do I set a specific file opening as an event?

Post by Syyiailea »

So I'm new to the program, and thought you guys might be able to help me out with this. What I want to do is, for example, whenever I open a file, say "Random Text File.txt" that it would register my opening that file as an event in EG, which I could then use to active macros. Any ideas on how I would accomplish this?

But when I open the file, there's no record of it in the log. Again, I'm new, but as I understand it, the only things recorded in the log are the things you have plugins for. So is there a plugin to detect when files open?

You need to enable the "directory watcher" plugin first.
