I have this remote that came with the computer I bought. The computer name is Targa Ultra AN64 3700 October 2005. I don't really know what kind of remote I have, so I am not sure how to add it with EG. I just downloaded it yesterday and have been playing with it since, but am having some trouble with it, so I was wondering if I could get some help.
The way I found EG was through this forum that talked about adding a certain remote to MediaPortal, although I've actually installed GB-PRV, so I want to use that instead, but I followed the instructions on that forum and went to Add Plugin, HID and then selected the ones that came up. The problem is that there are many buttons with the same number so that when I click on a button and drag it to an event, I can click another button (but with the same number that comes up in the log) and activate the same event.
Is this just my remote driver or is this EG? I'm really new at this so I don't know too much, so I thought I ask. Should I maybe add a remote plugin instead of an HID plugin? All I know about the remote is that it came with the computer to be worked with the pre-installed Cyberlink PoweCinema, I guess v. 4?, but it doesn't work as well as I want it it to, so I wanted to use GB-PVR instead.
