no respond for some buttons from Apple remote control

Post by nobtiba »

Hi Bros,

I want to remote control programs on Windows OS from my Mac book. So i find out Eventghost could help me to make the Apple Remote control usefull.

But i don't know why i could only get the code for previous/forward/play buttons but cannot get the code for (+)/ (-) or menu button ? If i could then i have more options for controlling, for example i can turn the volumn up, down by (+)/(-) buttons, etc.

Thank you for your time.

I cannot explain it right now and i don't see how apple recognizes these buttons.

It is along time from when i posted this topic. I wonder if we have any way to control the volume in windows by mac remote control yet ? Especially, want to ask about (+) and (-) buttons ?
( The forward and backward buttons could be recognized already).
