Instant crashes on Windows 10 (log attached)

Hi there,

I've successfully used EventGhost under Windows 7 and 8.1 for the last couple of years. I upgraded to Windows 10 last week and now EventGhost crashes before it even loads the user interface. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling which makes no difference.

I *may* have accidentally deactivated a service/feature that EventGhost requires under: "ControlPanel \ Programs \ Turn Windows features on or off". However, I've tried re-enabling most of the services that could be relevant and it doesn't fix the problem.

The above means nothing to me so any help would be most appreciated. I'm so stuck with this that I've already trialled EventGhost alternatives but I'd hate having to redo all my macros...

OK - I've managed to fix the problem.

I uninstalled and reinstalled to a *different directory* and for whatever bizarre reason it now works!
