Lights and electrical equipment control with EG

Looking for reliable, fast, preferably controlled from EG lights control.

1. Specs needed: 220/230V, wireless or on electric wires (i.e Z-wave etc.).
2. Preferably small units as my switches 'holes' are round (rather than squared).
3. Allows to control the light from local switch as well (and 3-way, i.e two switches).
4. Controlled from EG is a big plus.
4. Cost is less the issue but reasonable.

Any recommendations?

Which country are you in? Z-Wave is region specific.

I use Z-Wave with a Vera and various devices that meet all your criteria. EG interfaces with Vera pretty well.

Israel. I saw there are no compatible devices on Z-Wave site (?) but I read the frequency approved here is 916 MHz.
Most recommended brands or products?
Also, is there a z-wave IR blaster for eventghost?

Other options I found:
Philips hue (from some applications).
Apple HomeKit compatible devices.

Do you have RF devices in Israel?

If so, a good choice (and much cheaper than z-wave) is to use devices like this

I think RF over 433 Hz is allowed.

The COCO products can be used but the control station is to my knowledge not supported by EventGhost. Therefore I strongly suggest to use the RFXtrx433 that has an EventGhost plugin and is supporting COCO Technology devices.

Problem with Z-Wave is the frequencies used are different based on what region of the world you live in. and to then specify a round hold for the actual switch..... eeerrr.... that's kinda pushing it. But also has to be 220 to 240 volt. I have seen a lot of the Z-Wave devices made to date. and I can't recall a single one that meets those parameters.

in the plugin support forum is a newer version of the Vera plugin, at the moment it only does the lights but i have been using it for several days now and it seems stable and doesn't stop working after a day or so like the old plugin.

If i happen to see something I will post in here again. but that's gonna be a hard one without possibly modifying an existing device to fit what you need.
