EG recognizes monitors incorrectly.

This is just a minor annoyance but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

I use two dual video cards, outputs 1,2 and 4 drive monitors and 3 drives an lcd projector. When working on only the computer monitor 3 is disabled, the monitors are lined up 1,2,4 but function as 1,2,3 ie works just as if there were only three monitor outputs. When using the lcd projector, and I do a lot these days, the monitors line up 1,2 jump to 3 the projector and then back to 4.

Reason for the is setup being to be able to watch videos on either the computer or the projector. I have a cataloging program that spans three monitors. With the projector inactive the pages come up on all three monitors, when active they come up on the first two and then the projector. The third page is the main link to the video file. When I click the link the video automatically plays full screen in the same monitor. This is a VLC media player feature, the video plays in the correct location whether or not IÔÇÖm using the projector.

The problem, EG sees the projector as monitor 4 instead of 3. ItÔÇÖs the only application that seems to see it that way. ItÔÇÖs not that big of a problem, I set OSDs to come up on four instead of three and so forth. The only thing is the test pattern plugin wonÔÇÖt show on monitor 4. There is not option for 4 in the settings. Anyone had a similar experience or any ideas to correct it.

That's odd. Does the "System/Display/Change Display Settings" action show and use the displays in the right order?

Yes, the system does see them correctly and I use another app to control them called Ultramon which also sees them correctly. EG is the only app as far as I know that switches 3 and 4.
