Serial port problem on Windows 10

Post by malakian »

Hi guys!

Today I work in a little project.
Me and a group of people have the same problem...

When i open the plugin of serial port, nothing appears to me. (no COM port available).
This problem only is present in Win10, I tested the same in Win7 and not find problems.

Aditional Info:
I tested the same in a virtual machine virtualizing Win 7 on Win10 and this not get problems. Work perfectly.
I use eventgosht v0.4.1.r1710

Help me pls, and sorry for my english.

I tried it now and I can not confirm it.
It works quite normally (OS version 10.0.10586 / x64).
You can see the serial ports in the Device manager?

My windows ver is 10.0 pro comp 10240 / x64
Yes, i can see the serial ports in the device manager.
I try connect arduino on eventghost.
In the arduino IDE i not get problems with the serial ports.
I know that before open eventghost i have liberate the serial port.
(Close arduino IDE to liberate the serial port for another software)

aditional info:

I tested virtualized win10 pro x86 in win10 pro x64 in a virtual machine, and the same problem continued.
For this i tell, the problem is with win10.
But i going to try virtualize win10 in win7 in my desktop computer for liberate some doubt

I am afraid that I can not solve a problem from a distance.
I am convinced that the problem is not related to Windows 10.
You can try a convertor USB / serial port?
