Need to press twice for Keystroke Emulation

Post by temm »

Hi,

i just got started with EventGhost and i have setup a simple macro for emulating a keystroke letter H.

The problem is that is that the second press doesn't fire the macro. I have to press it again resulting two presses.

I can see in the log of EventGhost that the first press results in executing the macro while the second press only gives be the the Thunder Sign for ir code.

What is going on? Am I doing something wrong?

By the way i'm using a Harmony Ultimate with an intel nuc and Generic HID plugin.

Please post the the events. Some remotes send alternating ir codes, so both events would have to be attached to the macro.

ok, i will check this when i return home.

I do have another question concerning this or should i post another thread? Since Microsoft Media Center is lanching when pressing various functions on the harmony remote (DVR, RecordTv, LiveTv, etc) is EventGhost conflicting with Microsoft eHome Infrared or any other service? For the time being I have disabled microsoft media center so it won't launch.

No problem. As for your other question, I use a usb-uirt so I do not know how the plugin you are using works.
