Receive Messages

Is it possible to receive System Messages in EventGhost? If yes, how?
If no, what is the best way to communicate to eventGhost from an other program? Do I have to send key strokes?

OK, I have found the feature to start EventGhost with the -e {Event} option but I also saw the "EventGhost Message Receiver" window. How can it receive messages? Would it be faster or any better to send messages instead of the command line option?

ActiveX/COM server EventGhost and method TriggerEvent("PrintableString").
See EventGhost.vbs script in folder plugins/MediaMonkey.
