Newbie has some questions

Post by njscan »

I've been given the task of capturing IR codes for several remotes used with consumer electronic products. This information will be shared publically with customers who have purchased programable remotes and need the codes. I'm currently using the Tira IR capture device.

1. I've reviewed some similar info now available from companies like Denon. Their data appears to be offered in a binary format (0's&1's).

2. In what format would such information be offered in so it can be used by the greatest number of people? I see that some files are in ".CCF"

Can anyone direct me to (or explain) the steps for using EventGhost to capture such data?

Thanks

I have seen the pronto format several times.
The USB-UIRT plugin uses this format.
