How to prevent my Medion x10 remot from causing hibernation?

Hi-

Any suggestions I can get here are wecome. I have a medion x10 remote that I am running on a Vista machine with eventghost. This combination works quite well, except that the remote's power button seems to be hardcoded to send vista into hibernation. Eventghost sees the command, but then the screen fades to black, and we are hibernating, so it seems that Vista is overriding EG. I would like that button to start and exit sagetv (or frnkly do anything but hibernate, which is usually a hot mess upon wake, missing usb devices, weird messages, etc.)

My remote appears in device manager as x10 USB Wireless Transceiver, and the driver is version 6.0.0.210 dated 11/30/06. I have used drivers that I found here in the forum as well as another I found on my own. Is there maybe a config file somewhere I can edit or something?

I don't know how the Captions are in english,

in the energy save options you have to switch of the "Energy Save Button" --> do nothing

Thank you so much!!! I thought I was going to be going deep into the registry, or editing DLLs or INIs, neither of which mean much to me. Plus I learned a little German. Thanks again!
