EventGhost + Autoremote over 3G/4G Network

Hey , I'm new to this programs so i need a bit help if you can
I cannot find a way to send commands via 3G/4G network. I have already tried to create a WOL via 4G with other program and it worked when i open the ports.
But Autoremote doesnt work even with opened ports (1818) or (1820)..
It works like a charm via WiFi

Yes, this should be possible. I am not sure how to do it tho.

The reason it works over WIFI is because that everything runs on localhost on your computer. Everything you send and receive with or to eventghost happens over localhost (this just means that it's not on the internet as you know it, but on your local network)

You must set up something so you can reach eventghost from outside your network (I dont know how to do this, sorry)

I port forwarded to my server IP on port 1818 without issue. AutoRemote works great.

Your ISP's Modem may need to be port forwarded to your internal route as well. Double SubNet.

Modem's Firewall - Port Forward >> Your Router - Port Forward >> PC with EventGhost

Try using telnet to see if the port is open from outside your network. A blank black screen means it is open.

If all else fails double check the settings to make sure you are using port 1818 or 1820.

I would recommend to use https://www.pushbullet.com/ instead, it is free, and has no message length limitation, also has Tasker plugin, EventGhost plugin, and no IP/ports setup hassle, will work on any network.

P.S
One limitation in free version is the maximum file size that can be pushed, 25Mb.

Ask on the official autoremote forums, you might get better help there as the dev of autoremote is active on those boards
