Can all IR commands be passed thru with USBUIRT?

I am new to EG and USB-UIRT. I am looking for a way to pass all IR commands received by the USB-UIRT back out to the IR emitter of the USB-UIRT. Is this functionality built in to EG? Is there a script to do this? It sounds simple, but EG is new to me. It seems EG events are tied to a specific IR command, but I want to pass all commands without learning each one individually. Maybe I misunderstand your need but it looks as if you want to use EG as a kind of repeater/amplifier.
If so, would it not be easier to use a set of pyramids (remote extenders)?

Thanks for the reply. I think you are right, I need an extender. I also just received the API for USBUIRT and it cannot do what I thought it could (to act as a repeater).

I think krambriw is correct in stating that in your case remote extenders are what you need but for the record I don't see why it couldn't be done with EG. You should be able to have EG learn an IR code to transmit then trigger it from the same code. The only problem I could foresee is triggering an endless loop if your USBUIRT picks up the IR it just transmitted. It shouldn't though since EG on my system doesn't log IR transmitted.

I use a similar technique for my projector except I transmit IR from a universal remote (Ipaq) for some random piece of gear I'll never own and have EG transmit back the correct IR code. The reasons for doing it this way are,

1. My projector is behind me and this keeps me from having to lift the remote over the back of my chair and pointed behind me for operation.

2. I've made a duplicate of my projector's remote with EG's On Screen Remote plugin. This allows me to be able to control my projector when my remotes batteries are dead or if I'm working with the mouse or Gyration air remote.

So there could be circumstances someone would want to do what your describing and it should be easy to do.
