specific help needed with Logitech Ultimate remote controlle
Hi Guys,
I have a question about controlling a pretty specific device with my Logitech Harmony ultimate (hope it is ok to ask it here):
I have a special so-called 'auto-masking' home theater screen. This is a screen which can be automatically (electrically) adjusted to custom pre-defined screen ...

Re: recovered .XML config not loading
I tried 3 different recovery tools last night but all give the same result (the .xml I posted in this topic).
I think that somehow this .xml file is corrupted or something. Maybe it can be 'decoded' to it s original state? I think I need to ask on a 'PC help' community maybe.

recovered .XML config not loading
I had to do a full reinstallation of my system. Unfortunately I forgot to backup my .XML eventghost configution. My configuration took my days if not weeks to make.... I found a free tool called Recuva and I was able to recover my .XML from my formatted HDD. However, when I try to load my config it ...

(virtual) serial port
Hi,
I m using the Serial Port plugin from Eventghost. This all works perfect with my program called VSPE (Virtual Serial Port Emulator by Eterlogic).

press more times on button
I use Media Player Classic with my Logitech Harmony Remote controller and I use Eventghost. In MPC I can assign THREE different (fast)forward shortcuts. At this moment I configured SIX buttons on my remote as follows:
button 1 = forward x2
button 2 = forward x8
button 3 - forward x30
button 4 ...

Re: Send keyboard key command to minimized/non active screen
I was right about it, it does work but not the way I want it to. My media Player needs to be kept on top always (while watching the movie).

Send keyboard key command to minimized/non active screen
I have a program running on my PC that has keyboard shortcuts support. The problem is that this program (a control panel) only 'receives' these keyboard shortcuts when this control panel is active/on the foreground/maximized. Is Evenghost able to send a keyboard shortcut to this control panel when ...

Ok, so I added the plugin. Now what? Look again at the examples given by zian in this thread, as they show how to use the events.
