I'm sorry but can someone help me out here:
I am unable to connect to my eventghost.

Here is what i've done so far

1) I enabled the webserver plugin. Set my port to 5000. Set my Documents root folder to the folder provided by m19brandon which contains index.html

2) Port forwarded my port ...

I have a logitech 700 which is similar to the 650 but Im not sure those come with a usb dongle. Either way, you may already be sending via CEC or Infrared. If you have an AMD apu, i believe those already support CEC.

How are you controlling plex? Are you using an IR usb receiver? I imagine if you are controlling plex already using your remote then you do not need additional hardware.

Thanks for the update info. I updated my libCEC to version 3 and the installation comes with the EventGhost plugin which seems to work fine off the bat

Only negetive thing is that LibCEC v3 does not seem to play well with Kasinator's libCEC plugin so you would have to re-do your entire ...

You can disable or enable a plugin the same way you would enable or disable anything in eventghost (under actions -> disable or enable an item)

However in this case i would not disable the plugin because then there would be no way for you to enable it using the xbox controller itself. Instead have ...

you can maybe try setting up a sequence in eventghost where a combination of buttons enables or disables the eventghost action (so something like pressing start and X disables the eventghost action and pressing start and Y re-enables it)

mouse movement works fine for me. I use the 'mouse relative' action and it moves the mouse just fine

Look under the EventGhost actions -> "Jump if double event"

Anyone have any idea how to suppress these messages? I use remote desktop but even when its not in use, i get hundreds of these messages filling up my log.

EDIT: if anyone else stumbles this way and is having trouble with this taking up all the logging, you can comment out the trigger in this ...

I am going to replace my MCE device and see if the new one has better range.

It just baffles me that even a $5 IR remote control can transmit signals from 20ft away while a blaster needs to be directly in front of the receiving device.
