Re: Gyration remote

It doesn't appear to be creating tasks in the log anymore tonight... Let's assume I can't get the gyration remote to work. What would be the best ir remote to purchase (not overly expensive) with receiver that would be capable of sending commands through the plugin, while NOT affecting windows (so I ...

Re: Transmitting Command to Certain Program

Thanks. I'll try that again tonight (at work atm).

As for how the plugin works, do you know if it's simulating keyboard commands, or is it sending commands directly to the program? Would it be possible to disable everything except for the XBMC plugin (ie - keyboard emulation), and still have it ...

Re: Transmitting Command to Certain Program

Events definitely appear in log view. I'm a little confused as to how to "map" commands to the plug-in actions. Is it a matter of right-clicking? I saw something about dragging the log inputs over, but that didn't appear to work.

Re: Transmitting Command to Certain Program

Well, I'll surely try to find that out. But regardless, when the window isn't in focus (when i'm doing other work), EventGhost doesn't seem to be passing the commands along to XBMC (which runs on the secondary monitor/HDTV). What can I do to make this work? I read about coding in findwindow commands ...

Re: Transmitting Command to Certain Program

I don't know why. I added the plugin, but clicking the buttons still translates to actions happening in the main windows screen. What should my event tree look like, and what do i have to do to disable windows from picking up signals from my remote? Attached is new event tree. Appreciate the help.

Re: XBMC

I have a gyration air remote which is being recognized by eventghost. However, I can't figure out how to make it so that all commands received by eventghost go to the application, and disable them from going through to the focused window. To explain:

I have a primary monitor, which I do web ...

Transmitting Command to Certain Program

Hi! I'm looking into downloading EventGhost, and have gone through 4 pages of the forums so far. I don't believe I've seen an answer to what I'm asking, but if there is one out there, please be patient with me.

I run XBMC on my 2nd monitor (an hdtv) from my desktop (extended, not clone mode). I ...
