XBMC Enable XBMC plugin of EG
Re: XBMC Enable XBMC plugin of EG
All you should need is event server enabled and a XBMC plugin (XBMC or XBMCRepeat) activated in EventGhost, and it should work.predatorftp wrote:How do i enable the XBMC commands (in XBMC) in order for the XBMC plugin in EG commands to work in XBMC ?

I just tried the latest EventGhost and XBMC with both XBMC plugins and they work fine, maybe you have a firewall or something that's blocking the communication between XBMC and EventGhost.did something change ?
I tested on Windows XP sp2, so if you're using something else it could be something else.

It might be, as the XBMC plugin communicates with XBMC via the network, try to disable the firewall and see if it works, if it works when the firewall is disabled, then you need to configure the firewall to allow network traffic from/to EventGhost/XBMC.predatorftp wrote:i am using windows 7, you think its because of the firewall ?

, have you checked out my XBMCRepeat plugin? I think it's better then the default if you're using a remote or gamepad to control XBMC.
