Cyberlink remote doesn't work in my EventGhost

Hi !

I'm trying to set my remote to work, but I can't. I have a Cyberlink remote controller and IR remote receiver

When I plug the IR remote receiver to computer, I see some entries in window log like : "System.DeviceAttached[u'\\\?\\USB#VID... " and "System.DeviceRemoved...". But when I try to install plugin USB-Uirt, the log shows : "Error starting plugin: USB-UIRT. Driver not found!". Do I something wrong? Maybe I have to install some other plugin...?
I've installed this : http://www.eventghost.org/downloads/x10drivers_x86.exe, but after install (when I click OK 'Installed successful" window) I see this :

I use EventGhost v.0.3.7.r1030, Vista 32bit SP1.

The USB-UIRT plugin is just for the USB-PlugIn as the X10 drivers are for X10-hardware only.
I don't know what the Cyberlink remote is based on.
What entry appears in the device manager when plugin the receiver?

I've got that remote and it works great. It is actually a generic hid device. So go to add a plugin and install generic hid and it should come up with a list of of things. The cyberlink remote was classified as a HID Mouse by TopSpeed Tech Corp. There should be a few of them, some buttons are under one profile while the others are in another, so you have to add a couple plugins, and you probably will want to check the option for raw data or put an event prefix, because the non-raw codes overlap. Hope that helps.

I'm trying to get this remote working too.

It took a while to figure out but I found that if I added plugins for the three Topspeed Tech HIDs and set them all to RAW with prefixes of 1,2,3 then button presses started showing up in the event log where they didn't before. I then right clicked the plugins and used configure to set them back to 'trigger' (leaving the prefix) and the events started showing up as 2.button1 etc.
I then added a keyboard plugin and could see more or less every button press in the event log. All good.

The problem I now have is that some of the buttons are preconfigured and the home button launches Media Centre, whilst the power button sort of shuts down the PC (actually it interrupts power just long enough to cause a crash). How can I disable these functions so that I can map the Home button to start XBMC and the power button to bring up the shutdown menu etc.

Any help or advice much appreciated.

(I'm running the latest EG release under Vista 64 but in XP compatibility mode with Admin box ticked.)
