I am having a similar issue trying to switch between a projector screen and the LCD monitor when I put the machines into a "theater mode" (dims lights, starts projector, starts media center, moves the display to the projector screen)

I am using an ATI Radeon HD 4800 on Win7 64 Ultimate

This bug has been posted before, but no one had found time investigating it.

I just did some basic test on my machine and it works (win7 pro x64, radeon 4850)

edit:
I also get some troubles when it comes to disabling/enabling monitors.
