Hi,
I am brand new to eventghost.
i am interested in creating a macro (maybe when i press control+space bar) on my pc to toggle my active window to windows media player and press the "play/pause" button (control+p) - that is all!
I know that is probably such a simple thing to accomplish but for the life of me after an hour of reading and experimenting i still can't get it to perform the task. I think i am close, i created a "find window" macro to find windows media player, but i can't seem to get it to execute the function of play/pause there (control+p)
i'm not sure if i'm not triggering it properly or what, but if someone can help walk me through this i would be VERY appreciative.
any other info i can give to assist would be very glad to
Thanks

Please help, new user just want to perform 1 BASIC function
Re: Please help, new user just want to perform 1 BASIC function
To make EventGhost react to keyboard events, you need to add plugin Remote Receiver\Keyboard.Dillsnik wrote:i am interested in creating a macro (maybe when i press control+space bar) on my pc
You already found the "find window" action.to toggle my active window to windows media player
I would try the Program Control\Windows Media Player plugin.and press the "play/pause" button (control+p) - that is all!
And if you haven't already, read this short manual.

Where is the "program control" function?

It's a plugin, and reading the manual that I linked too, you would know.Dillsnik wrote:Where is the "program control" function?
