I am using XBMC Dharma beta2 on win 7 and the latest EG

My question is about listening to music with visualization (milk drop)
when the visualization starts there seems to be no way to exit without stopping the music
does anybody know the command in the XBMC plug-in to exit visualization?

Thanks. any help would be Great

If you're using my XBMCRepeat plugin, the XBMCRepeat\Buttons\Remote\Display will toggle between visualization and the GUI.
If you're using the default/included XBMC plugin, XBMC\Fullscreen should do the same.

I am using the default XBMC plugin. Whats the XBMCRepeat plugin do? Should I be using that?

It's an enhanced alternative plugin to control XBMC, supports a lot more functionality.
If you are using a remote, it has special remote actions that work better than direct actions, like the arrow keys have different function depending on if you watch a movie or do something else. Based on the XBMC remote for the XBOX.
Should I be using that?
I might be bias, but Yes :D

Thanks jonib
That sounds like something I want to check out. I looked in addons in EG and I didn't see it.
How do I add that to EG? And does it setup similar? Just drag the Ir codes over to the command?
What about the auto repeat macro to scroll through movie list fast is that the same?

Sorry for all the Questions. I love my XBMC and Event Ghost setup and if I can get better control.
I'm all over it!

There was a link on my first reply, but go here for more info XBMCRepeat.
How do I add that to EG?
You just download the __init__.py and xbmcclient.py from the link above, and put them in a directory XBMCRepeat in the (EventGhost install directory)\Plugins. Then you can (after restarting EventGhost) add the plugin to the EventGhost setup.
And does it setup similar? Just drag the Ir codes over to the command?
Yes, but the actions are in folders as there are many more then the defaul XBMC plugin.
What about the auto repeat macro to scroll through movie list fast is that the same?
Yes.

Thanks Again jonib you were right lots of options with XBMCRepeat

I got new EG files setup for my win xp and win 7 HTPC's so many command options it's going to take so time
I'll have to rebuild the pronto pages for my remotes. It makes XBMC so much faster

Definitely the way to go
