Back to square one: FireFly Remote & X10 USB CM19a problems

Post by stisev »

Hi all,
If you search, you will find that I have had a lot of problems with my Snapstream Firefly + CM15a. After months of troubleshooting, I finally got it fixed by installing snapstream.exe drivers, then manually copying over drivers from "x10setupnovideo.exe" installed in a sandbox. It worked for years.

I have just upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit and the old method does not work anymore -_-

Here are the problems I am having:
no X10 events in EG after resuming from standby

I will try the Intelliremote test soon

Problems
1) Standby problem mentioned above
2) Firefly not throwing any events.

In device manager I have the X10 ACPI complaint under USB devices (NOT the HID compliant driver)

Anyone have any ideas? I'm so frustrated to have had a working remote under XP and now Window 7, it exhibits the same problems as before :(
