Mouse buttons not always work right

Post by YoG »

Hi, i just started working with this program.
Im trying to set it up with my Foobar2000. Im aware theres a plugin available but it doesnt allow me to make advanced settings.

Im trying to manipulate my mouse-cursor by sending it to the right place and click on a button. However, when a mouse-button is pressed in some regions of Foobars screen, it will not execute the command on which the mouse-cursor is placed on. Although i can see the icon-button getting repressed, but nothing happens.

It also doesnt work with the status-bar. Normally, when rightclicked there should be a contextmenu show up. With Eventghost taking over my mousebuttons, nothing happens.

Stangely enough some icon-buttons in foobar d├│ work with Eventghost. But i dont understand why some work and some dont.. because theyre all the same, except for the command theres no difference in the icon, its the same kind/type (shown in the upper toolbar)

Another question, is it possible to record a mouse movement? That would be so much easier than inputting the pixel-coordinates.. it takes a lot of time to determine the right spot.. very tiring

Nevertheless, thank you for coding this great and free app !! :D

Hi YoG. Have you solved this problem? I have the same issue with you. I'm currently working on the mouse buttons but there are times that the mouse doesn't do what I want it to do. I doesn't work right. I don't know how to troubleshoot this problem. Please post it here if you have solved this problem. Thanks a lot.

Yeah sorry for not updating this topic but i think i found the solution. Youll gonna need the "Toggle" mode to switch from mouse click to mouse "unclick".
So for instance a left mouse button command will keep the button pressed until you execute a Toggle left mouse button command.
