Split multiple events/signals

Post by pse »

I want to use a universal remote to get rid of too many remote controls. I am able to learn mostly all remotes, except some buttons on my DVR. The problem is my DVR also an universal remote(original from manufacturer) and it sends out three events/signals in a single press, regardless of modes. I guess the only way is to split/cut the unwanted event/signal from the DVR remote. Can this be done using EG. If yes, I will filter only the required signal to be learned in the universal remote. Can someone help please.

Thanks

Just capture one of the events, making sure it is unique for key, and ignore the other two.

When I use the learn IR code, it will capture the entire ir code. So even if i just drag a single event and execute, it is simply blasting all the codes as events. Please look at the attached image file. Thanks.

I have the same problem. 1 press on remote, adds 4 duplicate entryes.

I've tryed "If event arrives twice, go to: clear pending events" but no good :(
