If any of you are curious, here is the ync spec sheets from Yamaha for the 2011 models. I have not looked for updated command sheet for newer models.

I just updated the plugin allowing a second zone control. A configuration page so you no longer need to edit the .py files. Some more updates to make full multi-zone control support will need to be tested by someone who has a receiver that has more than 2 zones. Some commands for zone 2 are not in yet, as updates will not occur until mid/late July. Updated files will be in MY first post.

Let's say I use the action Basic_Input_Sel to retrieve the input information from the receiver. How then do I send this information via the network event sender plugin?

Thanks for the reply! I have this set up but when I execute the macro, the printout of the result is "None". Do you know what I could be doing wrong?

Hello i have a RX-V1067 and try to get this work with the plugin found in this tread. I did put in the right ip adress of my reciever, but i get the message "aplication is not running!"
Does this plugin not work with my reciever?

I did a little looking and the protocols are all the same for the 1067. I have the 671, and I know even newer models work. "application is not running!" is the only information that you get? If you are not getting anything about rxvxxx, then all was installed properly. I then need to ask what action are you executing. A receiving action (getting information from receiver) or a sending action (command to send to receiver)? What action(s) did it fail on?

Thanx for quick reply! I tried to install the the rxvxxx and __init__ file again. Maybe i put in my ip adress as a hardcode first time. Now just in the plugin item setting. And now it works great.

I have recently worked on a newer version of this plugin, with the main focus on user customizeable settings, and cleaning up the clutter when it comes to events (one user defined increase volume function instead of 5 hard coded ones).

Wow! That's great work! I think for now I'll stick with Dragon470's version as it has additional events that I currently use.
However, I do have a feature request (or a quick end to my ignorance if it exists). Is it possible to have an event to toggle Zone A or Zone B and then check their current on/off status?

Thanks for all the updates! I'd like to suggest one addition. Dragon's code was for a receiver that had 2 "Audio" inputs. My RX-V573 only has a single "Audio" input and neither of his input selections work with it. Is it possible to include this?

Give mine a try. I already included an input called "AUDIO" (based on reading your earlier post in this thread). My code can be used by adding the "SetSourceInput" action, and double clicking on it will give you a drop down box of items to select. Here are all of the available options i give:

Thanks, your update works great! The only thing I'm missing is Zone A and Zone B toggles. Unfortunately, Zone 2, 3, or 4 will not toggle Zone B on my RX-V573. Is this something that can be added?
