Sony DVP-CX985V 400 DVD Megachanger

I just ordered a USB-UIRT to go with my new 400 disk megachanger. So hopefully I will have control for that figured out. This way you need not rip the DVDs for use with TV Tuner applications, however you may only watch 1 disk per DVD player. Luckily the Sony changer I bought has selectable IR codes and so you can have up to 9 with a single USB-UIRT. Mine is the entry level megachanger and as such no RS232. :(


Anyone else have one? I will be using this with SageTV plugged into an extra S-Video port and mapped to channel 1, I have already done this with a regular DVD player and IR relay directly. This time I'll try and get some SageTV menus going that control the DVD player from the command line.

As expected EG made this a cakewalk too.

I got home last night ~11pm and right now it's 8am and I'm done. I was asleep at 12:30. :lol:
