Battery level %

Hello,

Is it possible to get a notification sent to my Nexus 6 of my battery percent on my laptop? I do have an AutoRemote plugin..

sure is possible.

If you use the new beta version of EventGhost it will report battery use.. You can download it from here

if you do not want to use a beta version you would have to install the Battery Plugin which is located here
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6304&hilit=Battery+Plugin

and then you can do one of 2 things.. and depending on if you know your sms e-mail address for your phone. you can use either the e-mail plugin with a gmail account to sent text messages to your phone. or you can use AutoRemote (which i am not familiar with) but there are a couple of different methods of getting a message to your phone.

You may also consider the possibility of using Pushbullet instead of Autoremote. It is much easier to bring it into operation.

the pushbullet plugin would be the easiest way. that is a fantastic suggestion Pako. and it does not require a 3rd party like the e-mail. and doesn't have the complexities of trying to use AutoRemote.

if there is no other way but pushbullet.. Is there a plugin in event ghost ... and how to set it up so i can obtain current battery %

my objective is to use my phone or a different pc and ask my laptop what is the battery % ........ is this an option?

You most certainly can use AutoRemote. You will have to search the forum for "send notifications to android autoremote". and I am sure someone has provided instruction on how to do so. I am not familiar with AutoRemote

Well, here is a series of pictures that should help you.
Tasker setting I can add too, but it very much depends on what type of notification or action you need. Anyway it's also easy, because there (I mean Tasker) Pushbullet plugin is also available.
However, there is a little trouble, I've got a Tasker in the Czech language, and I do not know how to switch it to English.

Hi,

Still having troubles... Is it normal to load with error's when i first start Eventghost? If i highlight the "PushBullet: Push: note to "Motorola Nexus 6" " and click the green icon (to manually run it) I do get a pushbullet notification of battery %. However... When I minamize eventghost (keep it running in the background... Do NOT x off) If I set the battery plugin to 97% and unplug my laptop, When the battery reaches 97% (manually watch it by clicking the battery icon every so often) I do not get the pushbullet notification..

Krambriw is right - asterisk (as a wildcard) is missing in your setup.
However, I see another problem - the red lines in your log.
Maybe it could be a problem with encryption. You have enabled encryption? And if so, for all devices the same passwords set?
You have installed the Chrome extension and / or desktop Pushbullet application too? Its works smoothly?

You need to set your own recepient in the AutoRemote message action.

This will make your PC send its battery level whenever it receives an AutoRemote message like ÔÇ£pcbattÔÇØ. Of course you can change the trigger to anything you like.
