Yes, I know you could dismantle the USBUIRT too.
The Tira2 was just much easier to mount. It's designed to mount with the circuit board vertical or to the front of the case with standoffs (in mine the steel front plate behind the window).
The USBUIRT is designed so the board mounts horizontally (flat) which would make it much more difficult to get inside my case.
I'm just showing another option for those interested.
