i got a PS3 USB remote plug. When i plug this into my windows machine it appears as a "gamecontroller" named "IR PS3 Remote Pad". In the hardware manager it appears under "Human Interface Device" as "HID- conform Gamecontroller". I use EventGhost 0.3.7.r1030 with the "Plugin: Joystick". I use Windows XP Pro SP2.
Now all buttons appear in the Log (left pane) of EventGhost correctly and i can map them to commands for lets say WinAmp perfectly. Only he UP,DOWN,LEFT,RIGHT buttons DONT appear in the log. When i go to the gamecontroller pane of windows i see that these buttons are mapped to the "cooliehat" up,down, left, right events.
So my question: How can i get EventGhost to successfully catch these cooliehat button presses?
BTW: Great programm! Found it today and i am totally blown away by the opportunities this offers. thx
