I have added the XBMC2 plugin to work with EG. However, I am only able to use keyboard emulation(which I created) and not the macros found in the included folder of XBMC2.
Can some help.
Thanks

Re: Split multiple events/signals
When I use the learn IR code, it will capture the entire ir code. So even if i just drag a single event and execute, it is simply blasting all the codes as events. Please look at the attached image file. Thanks.

Split multiple events/signals
I want to use a universal remote to get rid of too many remote controls. I am able to learn mostly all remotes, except some buttons on my DVR. The problem is my DVR also an universal remote(original from manufacturer) and it sends out three events/signals in a single press, regardless of modes. I ...

The mistake that I made was not adding a trigger, and only realised after seeing similiar posts. It is working fine now.

Re: Keystroke emulation with MCE remote
I explain what I am doing clearly. I am trying to use EG with MCE remote. However, I am stuck even when I am not using MCE plugin. That is when I press the green play button for volume it works, but it is not working for the rest of the emulation such as {Ctrl+F}. Could there be more action or event ...

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
Yes, initial confusion was about pressing the same remote twice for different purpose. Your detailed explanations helped me and now it is working the way have described. But, the STB remote sends four Events on a single press, then it can be executed by a single click on the green button. As for the ...

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
Tried your method it only worked in the follwoing way:
Captured a few codes on the left, e.g, MceRemote.Mce.Pause using mce remote
Created a macro and learned IR code using STB remote
Dragged the MceRemote.Mce.Pause on top of the learned code
Executed with green button, it works.
But, using the STB ...

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
May be communication problem or I did not say correctly what I wanted.
Let's forget about mce remote!
I just want to use the STB remote via Eventghost to control my STB. Is that possible?
I just need single solution. Thanks.
Note:
If mce remote can perform all the functions of STB remote, yes, I ...

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
The mce remote code is captured as what you have stated, that is if number 1 button is pressed, it it showing as MCEremote.Num1. This is not the problem for me. What I want is to use my set top box remote to work with eHome IR Tranciever. Is that possible?

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
The IR blaster is connected to place shifting device(Hava or Vulkano). If I use this transciever just as plug n play, it transmits signals thru the place shifting device, but as I have said earlier that the remote control has only limited function. That is the reason I want to use EventGhost to pair ...

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
When I pressed number 1 on remote, there are four MceRemote events appered on the left. Then went on to click add event on the macro, one of the event appeared automatically below the macro. With just a single macro, I wanted to test but there are no IR fired at STB, even I drag & drop the remaining ...

Re: Microsoft eHome Infrared Transciever
Hello giantpopples,
Yes, that's right. Exactly that's what I wanted to do.
I have a IR blaster cable attached to Vulkano(similiar to Slingbox), pointing at STB for flashing IR codes.
Please tell me what should I do next from here.
